iNamics was awarded an APEX Award for it's development of the website www.laketran.com. We received silver, or 2nd place.
The award was given for its "creativity, innovative ideas and marketing excellence" during the Lake Communicators 2009 APEX Awards luncheon on November 11.

iPhone app, carrier identifier

A new iPhone app, developed by iNamics for a client and recently released, will soon be available at Apple's App Store. It's called "Carrier Identifier", and can identify who the cell phone company is for all your mobile phone contacts.
The app's purpose is to enable you to find out what calls are free (included in your carrier's "circle") and what calls are not. Calling mobile-to-mobile, when it's in the same network, is typically free now with most cellular plans.

Here at iNamics, we're always too busy working on our client's websites, email blasts, servers, data, search engine listings, email accounts, and whatever it takes to keep their IT operating and happy. Little time was able to be spent on our own web site and web presence. We've been like what I've said, a "Shoemaker who didn't have enough spare time to make himself his own shoes" -- thus, a Shoemaker without any shoes.

According to the U.S. Department of State, the Consular Affairs Bureau receives daily calls about scams involving Internet dating, inheritance, work permits, overpayment, and money-laundering. Many of these scams are initiated through the Internet with victims ranging in ages from 18 to 81 and coming from all socio-economic backgrounds.
While schemes such as these have long existed, the advent of the Internet has greatly increased their prevalence. People have lost considerable money.
