iPhone app, carrier identifier
A new iPhone app, developed by iNamics for a client and recently released, will soon be available at Apple's App Store. It's called "Carrier Identifier", and can identify who the cell phone company is for all your mobile phone contacts.
The app's purpose is to enable you to find out what calls are free (included in your carrier's "circle") and what calls are not. Calling mobile-to-mobile, when it's in the same network, is typically free now with most cellular plans.
Jeremy Schlueter, our client, came up with idea and shared the concept with iNamics, who he ultimately hired to complete the project in the fall of last year. After a couple of months in development, iNamics had the first version fully developed and ready for testing.
Apple is very particular with the apps that get published at their store, but they are very helpful is providing information during the approval process. We expect that before the end of the month, you'll be able to download Carrier Identifier at Apple's store.
